As headline sponsor of London’s Clerkenwell Design Week, Renault chose the event for the UK debut of its all-new Scenic which took centre stage in Spa Fields Park, forming part of a showcase of leading product design from around the world. The 5-seater Scenic features some unconventional MPV design cues, a two-tone colour scheme and huge 20-inch wheels fitted as standard across the range. A choice of petrol, diesel and Hybrid engines will be available when the Scenic goes on sale later this year. The Clerkenwell Design Week is open until 26 May.

VIDEO: Sony launch PS4 game GT Sport in London
The new Sony PlayStation game ‘GT Sport’ was launched at London’s Copper Box Arena, to a wheel-spinning, tyre smoking fan-fare. Inviting a host of manufacturers to bring their specially made extreme concept cars, the floor was packed with dream machines - all of which feature in the new console game. A few privileged gamers were among the first to try out the new software, which was sanctioned by the FIA and built from the ground up to make global online competitions a reality. Speaking of reality, stunt drivers were on-hand outside to give guests a taste of real world racing.

VIDEO: Mahindra launches electric car into the UK e2o
Indian manufacturing giant Mahindra has entered the UK automotive market with its e2o electric car. Launched at London's Design Museum, the three-door hatchback has been created for urban commuting, and will be available in two trim levels. The city car includes 'connected’ features such as a smartphone app which allows you to control many of the cars functions remotely. With running costs from as low £10 a month for those travelling under 8,000 miles a year, prices for the e2o will start at £12,995 OTR.

VIDEO: All-new Ford GT sets ‘Silverstone’ record
The all-new Ford GT supercar was recently sent around a specially designed ‘Silverstone’ circuit.. in London. Loaded on the back of a Clear Idea transport truck, the World Endurance Championship race car completed the slowest lap ever at 2 hours 20 minutes as it admired landmarks on a route that started and finished at Southwark Underground station. The stunt marked the opening of order books for the ultra-high-performance GT as well as celebrating its debut season in the WEC which gets under way this weekend.
VIDEO: All-new Jaguar XF suspended over the Thames
Jaguar pulled the covers off its all-new XF - 18 metres above the Thames. The world’s longest hire-wire water crossing showcased the XF’s lightweight credentials – its new aluminium body is 190kgs lighter than its predecessor. Less weight means better efficiency, says Jaguar, with the new car offering over 70mpg. Power comes from a choice of engines ranging from a 2.0-litre diesel to a 380PS, 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine. Further details for the all-new Jaguar XF will be revealed at the New York Auto Show in April.
VIDEO: Vauxhall unveils 'upside-down' Corsa sculpture
British artist Alex Chinneck has teamed up with Vauxhall, unveiling his Corsa-based sculpture entitled ‘Pick yourself up and pull yourself together’. The installation suspends a new Corsa in the air, peeling back 15 metres of arching tarmac to turn the one tonne car upside-down and defy gravity as it appears to grip the curling road. The sculpture can be seen on London's Southbank until February 25.

Jaguar has loaned actor and self-confessed petrolhead, Idris Elba, a brand new XE for a 750 mile road trip from London to Berlin. It's part of a new mini-series documenting his journey to the German launch of Jaguar's new sports saloon. Elba will be testing the XE's fuel economy credentials, but he’s already diverted to Belgium's Spa Circuit to see what its 340PS can do round the track, with the help of former F1 driver Martin Brundle. Prices for the new Jaguar XE range will begin at £27,000 OTR.

VIDEO: Dynamo stunt launches new Fiat 500X
Magician Dynamo launched the new Fiat 500X last night with his 'The Power of X' show at the Copper Box Arena in London's Olympic Park. Three years in the making, the illusion saw Dynamo generate a 3 dimensional blueprint of the car and then 'miraculously' transform it – in the blink of an eye – into the real thing, in front of a live audience of over 1,000 invited guests. Order books have now opened for the new Fiat 500X which arrives in showrooms this April, with prices starting at £14,595 on the road.
