Honda has pulled the covers off its all-new Jazz supermini. The latest Jazz is proportionally bigger on the inside than the outgoing model and is powered solely by a 102 PS, 1.3 litre i-VTEC petrol engine which, when mated to the newly-developed CVT gearbox, returns CO2 emissions as low as 106 g/km. Available in three trim levels, prices start at £13,495 OTR when it goes on sale in September.
Honda has revamped its CR-V for 2015. A restyled front end features HID projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights which flow into a new grille. The 2.2-litre diesel engine has been replaced by a new 160 PS 1.6-litre unit which can be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SUV’s interior has also been revised and features new technology such as Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control which automatically reacts to other vehicles ‘cutting-in’. Prices for the new-look Honda CR-V have yet to be announced.
Honda says the Civic Type R Concept points to the styling direction of the production version that will debut in Europe next year. The 'racing car for the road' signals the most extreme Civic Type R yet, with a sleek, aerodynamic profile and 20-inch wheels reflecting a car designed for high performance. Full technical details have yet to be confirmed but power will come courtesy of a two-litre, direct injection, four-cylinder VTEC Turbo engine from the Earth Dreams Technology range -- pumping out at least 280PS!
