Following the unveiling of a high-performance Stelvio Quadrifoglio at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November, the first ever SUV from Alfa Romeo will launch with a special ‘First Edition’ model.
With the First Edition model, Alfa says everything is designed to ‘secure full driving satisfaction and top-notch performance’. In addition to its ‘distinctive’ styling and full standard equipment, the First Edition is powered by a new 280 hp, 2.0 Turbo Petrol engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard-fit Q4 all-wheel drive, for a 0-62mph time of 5.7 seconds.
The First Edition features 20" alloy rims, coloured brake callipers, Bi-Xenon headlights, chrome-plated window frame, rear privacy windows and courtesy lights on the door handles. Sporty touches continue on the inside, as the passenger compartment is designed around the driver, says Alfa, with a contoured steering wheel, integrated start button and standard-fit aluminium shift paddles. Real wood inserts are joined by a next-generation 3D navigation system, developed in partnership with Magneti Marelli, featuring a 8.8-inch high resolution display integrated in the dashboard design. The integrated instruments has a 7-inch colour TFT display.
New active safety systems such as Integrated Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Brake and Lane Departure Warning are all standard on the First Edition. Rear camera with dynamic guidelines, front and rear parking sensors, power-operated tailgate and automatic main beam headlights complete the equipment list.
The first and exclusive version of the new Stelvio line-up can be ordered from Alfa Romeo dealerships today.
