Replicating the current Lux upgrade already available on Volvo's SE, R-Design and Cross Country variants - the Swedish brand has added a Business Edition Lux model to its S60 and V60 cars.
Popular with company car and fleet drivers, the Business Edition variants currently account for 29% of total S60/V60 sales, while almost half of Volvo's end-user business sales for the S60 and V60 were for the Business Edition in 2016.
The standard S60/V60 Business Edition are equipped with a host of 'executive perks' Volvo, including City Safety autonomous emergency braking, Sensus Connect with satellite navigation, DAB radio and Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control, cruise control and LED daytime running lights.
The Lux package brings added luxury and new 17-inch Rodinia alloy wheels, while the interior gets residual-value-enhancing leather upholstery along with Piano Black inlays and an active information display, which presents the most important information to the driver at all times.
As well as these upgrades, the S60/V60 Business Edition Lux also benefits from a rear parking camera. This helps make parking and low-speed manoeuvring easier and safer, particularly if a towbar is also fitted to the car.
Selwyn Cooper, Head of Business Sales for Volvo Car UK, said: "With the BIK advantages of low CO2 emissions and their excellent fuel consumption, the Business Editions are already high on the choice lists of many companies. Following the addition of the Lux variant, the S60 and V60 become even more compelling for our customers."
Available to order now, the S60 Business Edition Lux is priced from £24,545 (OTR), with the V60 priced from £25,745. The D2 diesel versions of both attract a BIK tax rate of just 22%.
