The Aygo 'x-clusiv' is strengthening its position at the top of Toyota’s city car range with improved specification.
Offering more ‘style and quality’, up until now there was no choice of body colours as Electro Grey was the only option. Toyota has now made a choice of seven different shades available for 2017, with Electro Grey joined by White Flash, Silver Splash, Bold Black, Red Pop, Deep Blue Buzz and – exclusive to the x-clusiv – Cyan Splash.
Following the trend set by the recently launched Aygo x-style and x-press, the body colour is carried through to the cabin, across the upper door panels and dashboard. New Vogue leather seats with integrated headrests are fitted, with a multi-panel design in dark grey with contrasting lighter Anthracite grey sections on the seatback and cushion.
Previously the x-clusiv came as standard with the electric, full-length canvas ‘Funroof’, but this has now been made an option.
In other respects the x-clusiv retains its high specification, featuring 15-inch machined face alloys with silver centre caps, climate control, the x-touch multimedia system with seven-inch colour touchscreen, reversing camera, dusk-sensing headlights, smart entry and push-button start, rear privacy glass, Bluetooth, power-adjustable heated door mirrors, DAB radio reception and carpet mats with Anthracite edging.
Available as a five-door, power comes from Toyota’s three-cylinder 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine, with a choice of five-speed manual or x-shift automated manual transmissions.
On sale now, prices start at £13,035 OTR for the manual and £13,735 OTR for the x-shift; the Funroof option adds a further £895.
