Toyota has unveiled its new, high-performance Yaris ahead of a Geneva motor show debut.
It's set to take centre stage on the Toyota stand alongside the new Yaris WRC model, which will make its competition debut at the Monte Carlo Rally this month (16-22).
The new derivative is based on a three-door Yaris and is powered by an engine producing more than 210bhp, forging a link between the Yaris WRC and the standard road-going model range.
At the same time as the new hot hatch makes its debut, the entire Yaris line-up will benefit from design modifications, including new front and rear styling and a modernised interior. New technical modifications are also being introduced ‘to improve overall comfort and handling’.
The Geneva motor show runs from 9-19 March.
