Skoda has added a SportLine trim to both Hatchback and Estate versions of its new Superb.
Featuring 19-inch Anthracite Vega alloy wheels, sports design bumpers, sunset glass, and black gloss trim treatment on the grille, wing mirrors, window surrounds and rear spoiler (Hatch only), the Estate also gets black gloss roof rails and body-coloured spoiler.
Inside, the Superb SportLine is enhanced by a three-spoke Super Sport multifunction steering wheel with silver stitching, quilted Alcantara sports seats, LED ambient lighting, carbon dashboard trim, aluminium pedals and black headlining.
The standard kit list also includes Bi-Xenon headlights, Columbus Navigation and Wi-Fi, rear parking sensors, Drive Mode Select, dual-zone climate control, KESSY keyless entry and cruise control. A sports chassis lowers the car’s ride height by 15mm and an XDS electronic differential lock ensures sharper handling, says Skoda.
Available in Moon White metallic, Quartz Grey metallic, Business Grey metallic, Brilliant Silver metallic, Black Magic pearl effect and Corrida Red, the SportLine also introduces Dragon Green metallic as an exclusive option.
The Superb SportLine is available with three petrol and two diesel engines, as well as with the option of four-wheel drive and six-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The range-topping 2.0-litre TSI 280PS 4X4 can sprint from 0-62mph in 5.8 seconds while the 2.0-litre TDI 150PS emits 109g/km.
Hatchback prices start at £26,490 OTR for the 1.4 TSI 150PS ACT Superb SportLine to £32,535 OTR for the 2.0 TDI 190PS 4x4 DSG SCR. Estate models cost from £27,690 OTR to £33,735 OTR for the Superb SportLine 2.0 TDI 190PS 4x4 DSG SCR.
