David Brown Automotive has confirmed the first showing of a production-standard Speedback GT will take place at The London Motor Show.
The 1960s-inspired GT is designed, engineered and hand-crafted in Britain and sits on a Jaguar XKR-S platform. Power comes from a 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, propelling the Speedback to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
Following recent events in California, Dubai and Essen amongst others, the Speedback GT will be displayed to an audience of motoring fans at London's first motor show for eight years. Engineered for low-volume production, the Speedback features a hand-built body and will be made to order in limited numbers, allowing customers to request any level of tuning or engine enhancements they desire.
You can find Speedback GT on Stand R1 at Battersea Evolution (within Battersea Park). The London Motor Show runs from Thursday 5 May (Press day) to Sunday, 8 May 2016.
