Peugeot has chosen the 2016 Commercial Vehicle Show at Birmingham’s NEC to debut its all-new Expert Van.
The UK range and prices for the 2016 Peugeot Expert have been released ahead of its worldwide launch at the CV Show. There will be 47-models in the Expert LCV range with prices ranging from £17,495, not including VAT, for the BlueHDi 95 manual Compact 1000 S to £26,545 - also not including VAT - for the Range-topping BlueHDi 180 S&S EAT6 Long 1250 Professional Plus.
The new Expert will be available in a choice of three ‘well-equipped’ panel van trim levels: Expert S, Expert Professional and Expert Professional Plus, and will come as a Platform Cab and Crew Van. Two new Expert models will be on display on the Peugeot stand at the CV Show, alongside four other models from the French brand’s LCV range. Other special vans at the show include a Traveller i-Lab Concept, a Boxer Pro model and two Peugeot Partner vans, one in Royal Mail livery and one in Police livery.
Along with the announcement of range and prices, Peugeot has also confirmed the Expert’s new 22.4-litre Adblue tank will provide a range of up to 9,320 miles. AdBlue is described as an extremely pure solution, especially developed for the diesel engine and mainly consists of water and urea. It is injected into exhaust gas to reduce harmful NOx emissions through a chemical reaction. This reaction occurs when AdBlue is injected into exhaust gas inside the catalyst of the diesel engine.
The new Expert will be available to order from June 2016, going on sale in September. The the 2016 Commercial Vehicle Show is on now until 28 April.
