Hyundai has revealed further details of the all-new Kona ahead of its forthcoming world premiere.
The sub-compact SUV is said to feature a progressive character combined with the new ‘Cascading Grille’ family identity. The latest shadowy teaser image reveals twin LED headlamps set beneath slender LED Daytime Running Lights.
Hyundai says the Kona will feature aggressive body styling and deliver a true SUV experience with an elevated driving position and optional four-wheel drive.
The arrival of the new SUV marks another key step towards Hyundai’s stated target to become the leading Asian automotive brand in Europe by 2021 with the launch of 30 new models and derivatives.
The Korean carmaker has sold more than 1.4 million vehicles since the introduction of the first-generation Santa Fe in 2001, and now the Kona is set to become the fourth SUV in its European range.
Further information about the all-new Hyundai Kona will be released ahead of its official unveiling which is scheduled for the Summer of 2017.
