The first teaser image of the fourth generation Hyundai Santa Fe has been released ahead of its official debut next month.
Hyundai has revealed initial details of the new generation Santa Fe, which will make its world premiere in February before appearing at the Geneva Motor Show in early March. The fourth generation model continues a legacy which stretches back to 2001 when the very first Santa Fe was launched.
The all-new SUV Santa Fe is to be equipped with Hyundai’s latest active safety features under the Smart Sense technology umbrella. Parents will never forget their kids in the car again, thanks to an industry-first Rear Occupant Alert which monitors the rear seats to detect passengers and alerts the driver when leaving the car.
The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning is now enhanced with the addition of an automated braking function. To avoid potential collisions when reversing out of narrow areas with limited visibility, the system warns the driver and applies the brakes automatically.
The teaser image itself reveals a shoulder line and slightly boxy wheelarches which follow the styling of its smaller SUV sibling, the Tucson, but we'll get a closer look at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1st.
