SEAT has released first images of a new Leon Cross Sport Show Car.

The 3-door car appears to blend SUV styling with a more coupe like body, however the Spanish firm is keeping further details under wraps ahead of a Frankfurt reveal. SEAT did release a short statement, describing the car as one that 'matches the Brand perfectly with its performance, dynamic Design and Crossover attitude and the urban lifestyle of our young spirited customers'.

The Frankfurt Motor show opens its doors later this week.
